1. Regarding the terrorist attacks which occurred in the Iraqi Babil Province on March 6 and in Tunisia on March 7, leaving a number of innocent people dead, the Government of the Republic of Korea extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the attacks, their bereaved families, and the people and Governments of Iraq and Tunisia.

2. The ROK Government strongly condemns such terrorist acts, and reiterates its firm position that acts of terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances.

3. The ROK Government will continue to actively participate in the efforts of the international community, including the UN, to eradicate terrorism.
