1. The government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the signing of the Libyan Political Agreement by the participants of the Libyan political dialogue in Skhirat, Morocco, on December 17. The ROK government hopes that based on the Agreement, a unified Libyan Government of National Accord will be established as early as possible, and stability and peace will be restored in the country.

2. The ROK government notes with appreciation the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL)’s mediation efforts for unity and reconciliation, as well as the government of each country’s efforts to provide support. The ROK government hopes that all Libyan parties will participate in the Government of National Accord and contribute to Libya’s reconstruction.

3. The ROK government, together with the international community, will continue to support the Libyan people’s reconstruction efforts.
